Main interests involve diagnostic reasoning, probabilistic inference and Bayesian networks, case-based reasoning and (formerly) the use of Petri nets in AI applications. More recent activities involve dependability/reliability analysis, intelligent data analysis and machine learning, medical informatics and recommender systems .
