I am a Professor at the University of Piemonte Orientale, NW Italy.
My Degree and Ph.D. theses focused on the behavioural ecology of the Pallid Swift. Later I studied the behavioural ecology of the Black Redstart in the Alps, and Moorhen, Carrion Crow, Magpie and Partridges in the Alessandria province - NW Italy.
I am also interested in applied and ecological studies of the fauna, bird atlases and GIS application. More recently, I studied the ecology of invertebrates.
I am involved
in the Scientific Board of the GPSO
(Gruppo Piemontese Studi Ornitologici), the ANP
(Associazione Naturalistica Piemontese) and the association Monumenti Vivi.
