Biography

Marco Guazzone was born in Alessandria (Italy) in 1976.
He took his Laurea degree summa cum laude in Computer Science on July 2007 at the University of Piemonte Orientale (Italy).
He got his Ph.D. in Science and High Technology (spec. Computer Science) on March 2012 at the University of Torino (Italy).
Between the years 1996-2007, he worked for several IT companies.
Between the years 2011-2013 he has been Research Fellow at the University of Piemonte Orientale (Italy).
From February 2013 to January 2014, he is a Research Fellow at the University of Torino (Italy).
From June 2014 to May 2015, he is a Research Fellow at the University of Piemonte Orientale (Italy).
Since May 2015, he is a Researcher (RTD A) at the University of Piemonte Orientale (Italy).

Research

Marco Guazzone research interests involve computing paradigms in distributed system (e.g., Grid computing, Cloud computing and Peer-to-Peer computing) and digital forensics.
Currently, his research is focused on the following areas:

    The EFFICIENT project is an Italian Research project, founded by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR). EFFICIENT is a two-year project, started in March 2010.
